SUMMARY

An expedited turnaround in Silverleaf
featuring timeless elegance with a modern infusion.

VISION

A blend of new and old

This 8,221-square-foot Mediterranean estate in Scottsdale’s Silverleaf community sought a modern, functional design.
The homeowner, a business executive, aimed to create an open-concept layout, incorporate smart home technology,
and enhance the property, all while preserving its timeless elegance within a tight timeline.

SCOPE

A major overhaul both inside and out with a modern touch.

What started as a $1 million remodel grew into a multi-million dollar overhaul, affecting nearly every part of the estate. Major interior changes included an open floor plan, new butler’s kitchen, remodeled bars, and updates to bedrooms, the lounge, great room, primary suite, and bathrooms. The exterior saw a full pool remodel, new outdoor tile, and a smart home system for luxury and convenience.

CONSULTATION

Efficiency, precision and quick execution

During the initial consultation, it was clear that our client had an aggressive timeline and expected efficiency, precision, and high-level execution. With a crucial family gathering as our deadline, our team had to accelerate the construction phase to ensure the house was perfect in time for the celebration. Our team collaborated closely with J Moffatt + Associates, Inc. (Architect) and Michelle Griffiths of A Lively Haus (Interior Designer) to ensure the design aligned with the client’s vision, adapting as the scope evolved.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

Led by Michelle Griffiths
at A Lively Haus

The design refreshed the home’s Mediterranean style with modern, sophisticated elements. The open kitchen and great room layout improved flow and functionality, while the new butler’s kitchen catered to entertaining needs. The lounge, bars, and primary suite combined luxury with warmth and elegance. The exterior featured natural materials, custom finishes, and new tile for a sophisticated update.

CONSTRUCTION

Executing this extensive remodel within eight months required
exceptional project management as the scope expanded.

Key changes included removing walls for an open kitchen, adding a butler’s kitchen with new plumbing and electrical, and redesigning the bars, lounge, and great room with custom cabinetry. Despite delays in sourcing exterior tile from France, the project remained on track. The homeowner’s presence required meticulous site cleanliness and scheduling to minimize disruption while maintaining top craftsmanship.
